Parking in the rain is no fun
Last Saturday, a very wet morning, I was attending an event in Sheffield and was ready to put my money in the on-street parking meter to pay for the day when I noticed a piece of paper on the side of the machine that said no coins.
Trying to ring a telephone number to register the car on street parking in the pouring rain under an umbrella is no fun at all.
After several attempts to register, it took one hour in the rain to achieve this.
No fun at all.
