Have your say

On May 21 my husband and I went shopping at the at Meadowhall Retail Park.

My husband and I are both disabled and have great difficulty in walking very far.

We visited two or three shops in the area after parking in a disabled parking space.

During our visit my husband who suffers from diabetes started to feel unwell.

So we thought we would do the sensible thing and stop and have something to eat and have a sit down while my husband felt well enough to drive.

We thought by doing so we would not be putting anyone else at risk or putting ourselves at risk.

A few days ago my husband received a parking fine from the company which owns the car park at the retail park.

We feel is disgusting as we stopped and did the sensible thing.
