Parade in town on Burns Night

A MARCHING band will parade through Rotherham as part of a Burns Night celebration.

The Yorkshire Regiment event will stop at All Saints Square as part of a ceremony to unveil a piece of art on Saturday, January 26.

PHASE Worldwide is also organising a Burns Night charity gala dinner at Magna in Rotherham.

Lance Bombadier Ben Parkinson - the most severely injured soldier to survive, from Doncaster - is a special guest.

The Yorkshire Regiment Marching band, along with the Scots Guards Pipes and Drums, will perform a mini-tattoo. Visit for tickets.
