Packed UK holiday jet makes unscheduled landing in Paris after mid-air emergency
A British passenger plane bound for a Mediterranean holiday island has made an unscheduled landing after a mid-air emergency.
The emergency was declared at around 8.40am on the TUI Airways flight from London Stansted to Menorca.
The aircraft diverted while above Tours, France and has now landed at the Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris.
The reason for the mid-air emergency is not currently known.
