Outdoor life proves popular

Have your say

BUSHCRAFT sessions giving people a taste of the wild are proving popular in Sherwood Pines Forest Park.

The Forestry Commission initiative has seen more than 200 people signing up in just two months to learn how to make shelters, purify water, cook on a campfire, fight fires and survive a night in the great outdoors.

They are also taught traditional woodland craft skills.
