Out of this world
Sheffield City Council and their friends Amey must be living on a different planet from the rest of us.
The council has a duty of care to maintain the highways, yet what I experience regularly are the worst road surfaces in the country. Recent denials of responsibility for damage to cars simply underlines the council’s cynical, irresponsible and complacent attitude. If further proof is needed, just drive down Whirlowdale Road.
