Plans for an M! service station at Smithy Wood have stirred up controversy

The data is produced annually by Public Health England based on long-term exposure to particulate air pollution.

It will always be estimated data due to other variable health factors.

But it has been vital to have data for consideration in making decisions on IKEA and now Smithy Wood.

In objecting to the proposed service station at Smithy Wood, Sheffield Green Party noted the buffer that it provides for Chapeltown and Ecclesfield residents from traffic noise and fumes from the M1.
