He set out further cuts and spending restrictions on the poorest here in the UK while the European Parliament voted through an increase to their 2016 budget with an overall increase of 2.6 billion euros (+1.8%) which equates to almost another £400 million from we UK taxpayers.

Age of Austerity? The EU has no idea what the word means!

What an embarrassment for ‘Posh’ Dave, who had previously promised to secure a reduction in the EU budget while at the European Council.

If “call me Dave” can’t even secure a freeze in our EU budget, what chance is there of securing any fundamental changes to the UK’s relationship with the EU?

I suspect none!
