Trees far from scabby looking
Recently you printed a letter by H, (Other city causes worth looking at, January 22), which referred to Rustlings Road trees as, “scabby looking”.
They may not look their best in the winter, (none of us do), but they are far from “scabby” at any other time of the year. Please see the photo above, of some of the Rustlings Road trees which are scheduled for felling and which was taken this autumn.
I hope these beauties will be still be here for the summer, when the road’s mature trees brought shade to students in the park on one of the hottest days of the year, and for many seasons to come.
