Some bus drivers are pain in neck

Bus drivers do a vital job, and the majority do seem to be helpful; however, at odd times some can be awkward.

One Sunday morning I was standing at the top in Manchester Road, Deepcar, near to the water treatment works, waiting for the hourly No 57 (Stagecoach). But despite clearly signalling, he saw me but completely ignored me and sailed straight past.

At odd times this has happened to other people in our area, at other stops, and frankly it is just not good enough.

Bus drivers must never forget that when it is all boiled down passengers/Deepcar residents battled for a long time years ago to get a bus stop near to the water treatment works and would be really angry if they were to be deprived of this so handy facility at this site.

The powers-that-be keep saying that they want more people to use the buses, so if this is the case every effort must be made to help commuters.
