Share your wildlife experience on streets of Sheffield

WE HAVE had urban foxes in Sheffield for several years and I often catch sight of them in the car headlights in the south west of Sheffield from dusk onwards.

Last night, I saw a badger sauntering across Snaithing Lane, Fulwood just before midnight. This makes me interested in what other sightings there have been in the residential areas of Sheffield in recent years.

The badger is a very shy creature, widely distributed and nothing like as rare as is often thought.

There may, indeed, be badger setts in most of the larger woodland areas in and around Sheffield. I would like to hear what your readership experience is.
