Rain failed to dampen our day out at the city's 'seaside'
We were very lucky to have 40 minutes at Sheffield -by-the-Sea in the Peace Gardens on Saturday, before the rains came.
The atmosphere was fabulous, the Gardens and area were packed with very happy people and the vista looking towards Pinstone Street was beautiful.
My great sadness was that in the end we had to move indoors and so I missed being able to have what looked like gorgeous fish and chips!
Thank you to the organisers.
A pity about the weather although I suppose that even this made the Sea Side seem more real.
