My View, Cheryl Sadler: Let’s make it a happy Christmas for all
Doncaster’s local radio station launched their appeal at the centre only a few weeks ago.
And we’ve been one of the drop-off places for kind- hearted local folk to bring in their gifts.

And now is our chance to make a child smile and buy just one extra present to make a real difference to someone in our town and its surrounding villages
So many people have brought in gifts to help disadvantaged children in the Doncaster and Bassetlaw area.
This is something that just shows that the spirit of Christmas is well and truly alive in our town.

And this appeal aims to make sure that this doesn’t happen to youngsters in Doncaster and Bassetlaw this year.
As well as kind-hearted shoppers dropping of their Christmas gifts we’ve had two special visits from local schools.
Pupils from Doncaster School for the Deaf came along and signed Christmas carols for our shoppers and helped to raise funds for their school and for the Toy Appeal.

Kind-hearted shoppers have also been serenaded by pupils from Kingfisher Primary School.
The school’s 45-strong choir, who performed a festive Santa Sing-a-Long at the outlet shopping centre, invited members of the public to join in the singing and make a donation to the toy appeal, too.
It has been lovely to see so many people thinking of others.

Christmas shopping can be a hectic time for people so taking time out to enjoy these festive performances has hopefully helped them to relax and enjoy their shopping experience.
With just one more weekend to go before Christmas we are expecting it to be a busy one but with free parking, a free visit to see Father Christmas and Star Wars day there are plenty of reasons to visit us before the big day.
Thank you to everyone who has given so generously – you are quite simply wonderful.
