A school in Leeds is trialling no cars parked outside school at dropping of and picking up time.

Less cars outside school surely should be welcomed by parents, but hearing some of them talk on the radio you would think the council had asked them to walk five miles to school.

I remember the school run, jostling for parking, so we used to park further out – less cars parked – and walk in.

I love walking, I am a great advocate of it, so why not clean the air around school and use your legs, getting exercise and helping the environment too.
