Nobody would be allowed to beg outside a shop at Meadowhall, or be drinking or spaced out on drugs in there either.

It should be the same in Sheffield city centre.

Declare the area a drinking, begging and drug-free zone.

Employ security guards to move people on.

They could also work alongside various support groups informing them where to get help if that's what they want.

Tough decisions need to be taken because at the moment the centre of Sheffield is a horrible place to visit.
