I do wonder if something like free self defence classes could be made available, not only to women though (I am a woman myself - although my name is Terry and spelt with a "Y"!), but I think that there are a number of people who may feel vulnerable. Perhaps giving them at least some skills might deter a would be attacker if their prey felt a little too on the intimidating/not going without a fight. I think as well it may be a bit of a confidence booster in being able to get rid of some of that pent up anxiety, give people a social aspect to their lives which they may not have had or got as well as increasing confidence in their own potential and abilities. Maybe even holding a "lunchtime" class in various businesses would be a good booster for motivation and morale and maximise attendance - no excuses to not go!

Just a thought really :-)

Hi,

The thought processes of men toward women need to be changed, mysogeny should be & is a hate crime.

The level of hate I receive on a daily basis is awful.

We should adopt the same law as they've been discussing in Manchester any crime against women is a hate crime.

Also, we should be given free pepper spray.
