Reader's letter - Stop being so selfish

Some blame people such as Dominic Cummings etc.

How about take no notice of him and use common sense?

Many will not adhere to social distancing etc.

Many will not wear masks, no matter what.

I have relatives who have conditions such as asthma etc, but, in most cases, a few minutes wearing masks will help both themselves and importantly others.

A little bit of inconvenience and discomfort will not hurt anyone.

Those attending large gatherings, illegal raves, demonstrations etc. should stop these activities,

There are those in a rush to go on holidays all over, with no thoughts of others, who have either died, or lost loved ones, NHS staff,and other key workers and services.

Then a group of lads etc. on a flight from Greece, again not doing the right thing and causing infections etc.

They should be arrested, fined a minimum £1,000 and banned from flying for five years.

Yes, we all want to do things we love.

I miss my football, speedway, regular nights out, holidays – which we have cancelled – etc, but I am using common sense and doing things in absolute moderation.

This way, myself and family are helping control the virus.

We have to sacrifice some things, put some on hold and then hopefully we can get through this pandemic quicker and better and resume things next year.

It’s not too much to ask, is it?
