Reader's letter - Page Hall area has been let down

Coun Paul Wood, I would just like to address your answer to Lizzie Day in Friday night’s The Star, ‘Page Hall is like “watching an earthquake aftermath”’.

Do you really believe what you are talking about? Would you like to move from your present accommodation and move to Page Hall? Would you really like to live there on a permanent basis?

The area is a complete mess and probably will never recover.

Do you really believe you and your council colleagues have a handle on the situation?

If you do, it proves to me why Sheffield, the fourth biggest city, is in such a dire strait.

You and your colleagues and especially Sheffield’s present leader have completely let down the residents of what was once a place to be proud of.
