Reader's letter - May the peaceful protests continue

Mr PG asked why the anti-racism protests following George Floyd's death is still continuing to happen.

It has a lot to do with our country and our city because we created the vile slave trade 300 years ago and we should be ashamed of ourselves.

It doesn't matter if the people in the photograph you were looking at are white only. It was a demonstration that passed off without incident.

The majority of normal people in Britain and across the world are still appalled at the treatment of George Floyd and other deaths of African-Americans by police brutality. May the peaceful protests continue.
