Reader letter - Town Hall area in a 'deplorable state'

This building is supposed to show the people of Sheffield, tourists and temporary student population that Sheffield is a city going places, that’s progressing every day.

Then you see the dump site that’s being allowed to build up, the seeds of a buddleia shrub have been allowed to take root.

I did point out this problem to a councillor a couple of years ago and he agreed it was deplorable, but seems it was just lip service.
