"Only Wednesday can win a case and still be dictated to by the Losers"

So once again the supporters are inconvenienced because no one can bother to attend a meeting until, conveniently, after another home game has gone by.

Following the recent court case, in respect of a Prohibition Notice served on SWFC by Sheffield City Council, the court ruled that the wording of the notice was technically incorrect and so invalid.

This was accepted by all parties following a court ruling yet Wednesday are still being told what to do by the losing party!

Sheffield City Council has agreed not to immediately reissue a new notice on the understanding that the club provides formal alternative proposals to the Safety Advisory Group. These proposals include a crowd dynamics report regarding the Leppings Lane forecourt, entrances and exits in addition to a stewarding plan and risk assessment.

Surely anything like this should have been looked at between August and the court hearing, not suddenly started up again in January.

But no, yet again the supporters are thanked for their patience, which if anybody from the club bothered to check is wearing very thin.

We have one of the best cantilever stands in the country that we cannot use properly because of this. The club is losing income, the club is losing fans over this. Yet The council are still dictating changes to systems that have run perfectly for years.

The whole problem stems from lack of communication

Also ask everybody making changes what would happen if there was an accident on the steps from the bridge to the Lower South Stand now that there are a lot more people using them. There has been not because, believe it or not, football fans can behave and follow directions, most of which were never needed exiting the North Stand. There is an opportunity every week for clashes between fans merely by using Vere Road to go home via Leppings Lane. Because of the delay for Wednesday fans getting to that point the away fans are usually standing around or exiting at the same time. We accept the risks of walking on a public highway over which Sheffield Wednesday have no jurisdiction so why then are we being dictated to about the areas managed by the club?

Please, please sort this out soon. It’s beginning to feel that this is another example of Wednesday as a club not caring about their fans.

What ever happened to the Family Club and We Are ALL Wednesday?
