I was on the Supertram on Saturday, February 29, at about 2.15pm or so when a load of Derby football fans got on and then at next stop even more got on, until it was absolutely crammed full with no room to move.

They were banging on the windows, roof and doors and jumping up and down swaying the tram, I was terrified. The conductress got off at the top of West Street and none of the Derby crowd paid.

I was absolutely disgusted that this was allowed to happen. A police car was following us, but that was a waste of time.

Stagecoach Supertram. Stagecoach Supertram.
Stagecoach Supertram.

These so-called “supporters” should not be allowed on our transport, they should have designated transport to take them from the station and drop off near the football ground.

Never again will I travel when there is a football match at Hillsborough.
