Letter: Value our post offices

We have heard from our local postmaster, Dawn Goodison, about the difficulties she and other postmasters – still using that term – are facing due to the apparent disregard by the Post Office of their vital role within the community.

Strikes and cyber-attacks have exacerbated the situation.

The danger is, that like banks, bit by bit, local Post Offices will disappear.

In Upperthorpe’s case it is a boon to have this service as a local facility.
