Step into the parlour, as the spider said to the fly, has Jo Swinson and Nigel Farage fallen into the web spun by the spin doctors of the two dominant political parties? With the poor results in the European elections both the Labour and Conservative Party spin doctors must have felt terrified. The Brexit Party won everywhere. It has been said if it had been a general election, the Brexit Party would have been in power holding a majority of seats in parliament. The Liberals won in London and came second overall and would have been the main party of opposition.

What has happened after the European elections is the Labour Party spin doctors have stolen the Liberal Parties policies and intends to stand at the next general election as the main party of Remain and capture Liberal voters and eat the Liberal Party alive at the next General Election. The Conservative Party spin doctors have stolen the Brexit Party policies and intends to stand at the next general election as the main party of leave and capture the Brexit Party's voters and eat the Brexit Party alive at the next general election.

Both Jo Swinson and Nigel Farage need to wake up and smell the coffee before its to late. Allying or standing aside for other parties is not the way to treat loyal supporters of your own party who have worked tirelessly to win seats in the European elections. Nor should they treat the electorate with contempt. The electorate want their votes to count and deserve better. The electorate must be allowed to make choices of which party they want to support for themselves. Take heart! Remember the Labour and Conservative spin doctors were in disarray after the European Elections.

Alliances may be made, if necessary, after the results of the general election otherwise the UK will end up with the same Labour and Conservative spin doctors continuing spinning their webs across British Politics unopposed.
