and live on Freeview channel 276
For the last 30 years Alison Gethin has been a stalwart of the local Labour party and a great help to many, many people in Ecclesfield.
Sadly Alison is needing to step back from her community work and local activism and will be greatly missed.

Hide AdAs East Ecclesfield branch chair for 17 years, and many more years in the Labour Party (including as branch secretary, when the ward was named Chapel Green), she is simply irreplaceable to Ecclesfield and has almost single-handedly kept things afloat, in often choppy political waters.
Council leader Julie Dore also remarked that Alison was a great help to her when first becoming a councillor, as she has been to so many other new councillors or candidates.
I personally have a great deal to thank Alison for and will miss her counsel and advice.
On behalf of everyone part of Ecclesfield Labour Party – thank you Alison.
