Jinnahs gave us a marvellous time

I must totally disagree with virtually everything Martin Dawes says about Jinnahs restaurant (Sep 26).

I went there on my birthday after recommendations from several people and had a great time and a great meal.

Although the tables may be a bit close, I could not fault the food or the service, neither could the other 11 people in our group.

My ratings: Food 5, Atmos-phere 5, Service 5,Value 5.

Jinnah's Indian Restaurant, on the Common at Ecclesfield, was the venue for a recent 21st birthday. The evening we spent there proved to be very enjoyable with a lovely atmosphere.

The service was excellent with 28 of us all eating three courses. We could not have asked for more attentive service.

All the varied main course meals arrived at the table at the same time, piping hot. The food was very tasty and we all had a wonderful evening.

To say this restaurant is new and teething problems are to be expected with staff, we found them doing their very best to work as a team. Therefore we felt we had to write against a terrible review for one of the best restaurants in this area.
