Help at hand when fighters felled OAP

A BIG thank-you to the young couple and various others who helped my husband and myself when he was knocked down by two men who were fighting in the road as we were getting off the No 41 bus at the top of Dixon Lane on Friday morning, August 3.

The young man helped to pick him up and sat him in the bus shelter and the young lady phoned for the ambulance.

We cannot say how thankful we are to all these wonderful people. As we are both in our eighties it has been quite a shock.
