Gamble could pay off for flood victims
EVERY time it rains my thoughts and sympathies go out to the people living in the flood areas.
The obvious thing to protect these flood areas is to install barriers, which will cost a fortune, so couldn’t a large proportion of the National Lottery profits go towards this worthwhile undertaking? I’m quite sure the majority of lottery players would not object.
