Expulsion dilemma

SEEMS to me that Sheffield Springs Academy were a bit over keen but then again you can understand their reasons for doing it.

The Government are just about nailed to the cross with academies and they have to be seen to be 'working and working better' than normal schools. Removing these pupils who are making them look poor attendance wise is an obvious step.

The question remains: what happens next, will it be pupils with 'special needs' provision who are shown the door or is there still enough cash in the system to make them 'worthwhile'. As a parent with a child at a school which is planning to go 'Academy' status it does concern me,
