'Eating in pubs should be restricted by age', a Sheffield Star reader view

Politicians and their friends relax by holding dinner parties in their own homes so they are not too concerned if the pub and restaurant trade is in a state of collapse.

They never go out for a social drink so they are of the opinion that nobody else should be allowed this form of enjoyment.

The sensible option is for pubs and restaurants that offer eating and drinking to be restricted on an age basis to those who are young enough to be unlikely to suffer severely with the virus and that us older ones, which includes myself, should if necessary be told to stay at home.
