While the population stays indoors

Self isolates and Shields

We are coming in to town

A badger was photographed at Sheffield Station.A badger was photographed at Sheffield Station.
A badger was photographed at Sheffield Station.

From woodlands, ponds and fields

Badgers like me, herons, deer, hedgehogs, foxes too

We've had a right good neb around

But tried not to leave too much poo!

There's very little traffic

So we can freely roam

We venture forth for as long as we like

Then beggar off back home

We've had a good look at WHSmiths

At Topshop, Waterstones, Boots,

I've seen those funny hair salons

Where you all touch up your roots

With shops and pubs not open

We've had a run of the place

We can nose around to our hearts content

And not compete for space!

One brock went to the station

To see what he could see

I hope he didn't leave a big pool

When he had to go for a wee!

As the streets start filling up again

When the viral counts go down

We hope you'll look back on those

Funny old days of when the wildlife came to town!
