Thanks to a huge amount of support, we will be delivering 5,528 free copies of this education special straight to 105 schools.

Learn Sheffield, Sheffield City Council and teachers from every neighbourhood have created the puzzles, challenges and inspiration that you’ll find in the 16page supplement. Volunteers, including many from Voluntary Action Sheffield, will be delivering it through the letterboxes of young people who need some extra support as well as the children of key workers.

We want all young people in this city to be able to keep learning, even when they have no access to the internet, don’t have the necessary devices or adult support. There are pages for every key stage and the content has been designed for those on their own, or to do with parents, carers and siblings.

You may also notice that there are some more unusual stories in today’s Star. That is all thanks to our very special guest editor Man with the Pram, John Burkhill, and we have other exciting names lined up for the coming weeks.

Education is not just for the young, it is also for the young at heart so we hope you find something fun in today’s paper – no matter what your age.

If you are a company or individual who would like to sponsor future education editions, please email [email protected] uk and let’s pull together for all our children.
