Abbeydale Primary is brilliant, too

However, we felt a bit disappointed when your article sounded like our school isn’t as great because we don’t come from as many places. Some of us found this heartbreaking.

The children in our school come from different places, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Somalia, Czech Republic, Sri Lanka and other places. Most of our children’s families are from Pakistan.

We believe that just as important as where we come from is who we are, our personalities and what we can do. We feel brilliant because of our backgrounds. You can’t judge a book by its cover, nor can you judge a school by where the children come from . We are all special in different ways and special in what we do. We have different strengths.
