Open day at Racing College
THE Northern Racing College at Rossington Hall stages its annual open day on Sunday, September 16 from 11am to 4pm, with a day of activities including riding demonstrations, thoroughbred gallops, jockey schooling, pony racing and an auction of racing memorabilia.
The King’s Troop of the Royal Horse Artillery, South Yorkshire Police mounted section, and Grove Pony Club will also be presenting displays.
Music workshop
ANOTHER event to mark the tercentenary of the birth of Methodism founder Charles Wesley will be held next weekend with a West Gallery music workshop and concert at the Wesley Memorial Church, Epworth, on Saturday and Sunday.
Computer course
