Filming for the new six part series has just drawn to a close and production staff are now editing the footage for broadcast later in the year.
In September, hundreds of fans descended on Doncaster to catch a glimpse of stars including Sir David Jason, Lynda Baron and Johnny Vegas filming exterior sequences in Balby.
The Beautique hairdressing salon on the corner of Lister Avenue and Scarth Avenue, used for the original run of the series between 1973 and 1985, was transformed once more into Arkwright’s cluttered emporium for the filming.
