Open a bottle of Sheffield farm's own ale

Whirlow Hall Farm is launching its own beer.

Bottles of Whirlow Lane End craft ale are being made by Iain Kenny at North Union Brewing on Sussex Street near Sheffield city centre. Proceeds go to the farm trust.

Whirlow plans to provide ingredients for brewing - and the mash by-product is being fed to the pigs.
