One challenge just not enough for Sheffield hospice

Have your say

YOU don’t have to be a daredevil to work at St Luke’s Hospice - but it helps!

St Luke’s nurse Marie Smith is the latest member of the hospice team to sign up for the charity’s sponsored Triple Whammy Challenge.

The fundraising event at Magna on March 23 features a 250ft long zip wire from a height of 70ft, an abseil down the 150ft Face of Steel building before descending into thin air from a purpose built platform, and a Powerfan plunge from a 150ft drop.

The entry fee for the event, which covers the cost of taking in the Challenge, is £45, but participants also need to commit to raising a minimum sponsorship of £195. Log on to for more details.
