A Sheffield man on the run from South Yorkshire Police has not yet been traced.
Christopher Helliwell's photograph was issued by the police force last week in a bid to help track him down.
The 46-year-old, with links to Longley in Sheffield and Treeton in Rotherham, is wanted in connection with an assault in Woodhouse, Sheffield, during which a woman sustained a serious head injury.
Police officers have been trying to trace him since the attack in February.
Acting Detective Sergeant Andy Miller, said: “Helliwell is fully aware that he is wanted by police and that we are out looking for him. As a result, he is deliberately trying to avoid arrest."
Members of the public who spot him are urged to dial 999.
