Oldham Athletic are set to announce the signing of convicted rapist Ched Evans tomorrow, reports suggest.
The club is believed to be in advanced talks to sign the former Sheffield United striker on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
Evans was jailed for five years for raping a 19-year-old woman at a hotel room in Rhyl, North Wales.
He was released in October and was set to train with Sheffield United, but the club changed its plans after uproar.
Several Oldham sponsors have threatened to withdraw from the League One club if Evans is signed.
