Sheffield Council has approved plans for converting historic former Manor Lodge School into a retirement village.

The Grade II listed building on Manor Lane will become a complex of 24 retirement bungalows.

The project includes full retention of the original late Victorian buildings plus a new extension to house one and two bed bungalows around a central courtyard.

“We wanted to retain the original character but appeal to the over 55s,” said David Cross of architects Coda Studios.
