An off-road biker and his pillion passenger were caught by police in a Rotherham park.
Police Community Support Officers spotted them entering Rosehill Victoria Park, Rawmarsh and riding along the public footpath from Kilnhurst Road.
The PCSOs went to the Park Street side of the park, where they met the moped rider as he tried to leave.
His moped, which was only bought one month earlier, was seized.
A spokesman for the Rotherham North Local Policing Team said: "Police Community Support Officers on mobile patrols in Rawmarsh over the weekend noticed a scooter enter Rosehill Victoria Park, at the entrance of Kilnhurst Road.
"A male decided to ride through the park on the public footpath.
"PCSO's were waiting on Park Street when the male decided to exit the park.
"As well as the rider displaying L plates, he was also carrying a pillion passenger on his bike.
"The scooter was seized and taken to a police compound.
"The cost to recover the scooter is £150.00 and storage fees of £20 per day.
