A TEENAGER was taken to hospital with spinal injuries and a broken jaw after an off-road motorbike crash in Barnsley.
The 19-year-old from Kendray, who was riding one of the bikes, was left in a serious condition after crashing into another off-road motorcycle on a track in Grimethorpe near the end of Cemetery Road.
Police say the circumstances are unclear and officers have no information about the second bike rider. Both bikes had been taken away when police arrived at the scene, but one is believed to be yellow.
The 19-year-old, who also suffered cuts to his knees and wrists, was taken to Barnsley Hospital for treatment after the crash just before 6.10pm on Sunday. Witnesses or anyone with information should call South Yorkshire Police on 0114 220 2020, quoting incident 885 of Sunday, June 19.
