They overpowered Nottingham Panthers 4-2 at the NIC.

Paul Thompson's men got off to a fifth-minute goal start, through Jeff Legue.

Mathieu Roy added a double at 25;39 and 31;55.

Panthers hit back with two from Juraj Kolnik within five minutes.

At 3-2, the match could have gone either way.

But an empty net goal from Tyler Mosienko with 48 seconds left ensured Steelers' points.

Elite League rivalry

Tomorrow they hope to add two more championship points, at home to Coventry Blaze.
