Nominate your Sheffield Star Superkids 2016
Have they overcome the most troublesome of times, battling an illness or tragedy? Perhaps they have gone above and beyond for a worthy cause or charity.
Then this is your opportunity to show them how wonderful they truly are. The Star is looking for nominations for its annual Superkids Awards, with associate sponsor Outwood Academy City - and we want to hear from you all about South Yorkshire’s most amazing kids and teens.
There are ten categories as follows:-

Hide AdEducational Progress - We want to know about anyone aged 18 or under who has achieved greatness academically or who has turned their grades around tremendously.
Inspirational Young Person, sponsored by Handsworth Christian School - Do you know someone under the age of 18 who has done something inspirational? It could be at school, at home, while volunteering or playing sport.
Carer of the Year, sponsored by Sheffield Clinical Commissioning Group - Is there a young carer you know who goes the extra mile for a loved one?
Triumph over adversity, sponsored by Unravel - Is there someone you know who has overcome the most troublesome of times? Have they overcome an illness or tragedy and you want them to know just how strong you think they are?

Sports Award - Does your child or someone’s you know attend a sports club and has achieved fantastic success there?
Fundraising Award - Tell us about any children you know who have gone over and above to fund raise for charity.
Music & Performing Arts, sponsored by A Mind Apart Theatre Company - Do you know a youngster who has excelled in the world of music or performing arts? Are they the next star of the future and you want to shout about them?
