A ROTHERHAM woman has been issued with an anti-social behaviour order for repeatedly breaching noise abatement orders.
The 40-year-old, from Rawmarsh Hill, Rotherham, had been served with noise abatement orders by Rotherham Borough Council, which she ignored.
The new ASBO, which runs until January 2015, states she must not play amplified music, shout or make other noises at such a level as to cause harassment, alarm or distress to others.
The order also bans her from encouraging or allowing others to generate noise in or around her home.
PC Rebecca Lindley , of South Yorkshire Police, said: “This individual caused undue distress to others over a significant period of time and took no notice of the warnings and the opportunities to change her ways.”
