No serious injuries in Sheffield Parkway smash, say police

Motorists involved in a three car smash on the Sheffield Parkway this morning escaped without serious injuries, police officers have revealed.

The collision occurred close to the Prince of Wales Road junction on the in-bound carriageway at around 8.20am.

The road has been closed and a diversion is in place, taking motorists to the city centre via Handsworth Road, Staniforth Road and Attercliffe Road.
