NEIGHBOURING police forces teamed up to tackle cross-border crime, seizing an uninsured car and suspected stolen sportswear.

Officers from Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire stationed themselves on the county border before following an uninsured Ford Fiesta from Whitwell, near Bolsover, to Worksop, where it was seized.

They also worked with South Yorkshire Police to recover a van containing a large amount of stolen clothing in Harthill.

Builders’ portable cabins set on fire

TWO portable cabins used by builders renovating Boston Castle, Moorgate, Rotherham, went up in flames in an arson attack.
