NEWS IN BRIEF: Masons support special school

FREEMASONS have dug deep to support a Sheffield school.

Much of the outside play equipment at Norfolk Park Primary Special School was destroyed by flooding two years ago.

Now members of Sheffield’s Hallamshire Lodge have handed over £5,000 to the school to buy replacement equipment.

Allan Clarke, lodge secretary, said: “It is wil pride that we have been able to help.”

Architecture show

SHEFFIELD University architecture students are preparing for their summer exhibition.

The show features drawings and models and videos on a variety of research topics.

After an official opening on Friday, it runs from Monday, June 18, to Friday, July 20, from 9am to 5pm daily, on Floor 16 of The Arts Tower, Western Bank, Sheffield.

Entry is free.
