STUDENTS from Sheffield’s Headlines Elite Training Academy demonstrated why they’re a cut above the rest when they created the latest trends in hair fashion and raised almost £800 for St Luke’s Hospice.

The award-winning academy, the training arm of the Headlines Elite group of Sheffield salons, presented its annual Hair and Fashion Show at Embrace nightclub in the city centre, raising £778.

Dulce rides high

FUNDS were raised for a South Yorkshire charity by a volunteer who completed a 130-mile journey on horseback. Dulce Threlfall was raising money for Red Balloon South Yorkshire, a charity for severely bullied children. Dulce, chair of trustees for the organisation, will donate cash to a fund seeking to raise £250,000 to build a learners’ centre for Red Balloon.
