Lincolnshire Greyhound Trust will be in Doncaster town centre on Saturday from 10am to 2.30pm with a number of greyhounds looking for homes.

LGT rehomes retired racing greyhounds when they have finished racing. The organisation has a kennel within 30 minutes of Doncaster, and provides support and back-up to owners who take in dogs. It has already rehomed 98 greyhounds this year.

A ROCK and roll charity night is being held at the New Hall, Bawtry, on Saturday evening to raise money for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

The Daybreakers band will be performing sounds from the Sixties, and tickets are priced £10 to include a pie and pea supper.
